From the vault interviews: Matt Skiba talks surfing, bikes, and Alkaline Trio

The first installment (right in time for Halloween season) is Matt Skiba ( Alkaline Trio/ blink-182). There are three video clips below,- two where Skiba talks about his love for surfing and motorcycles that was recorded on his bus prior to a show in Houston. The last video ( very dark quality) is from Warped Tour where I interviewed Skiba on the bus, and includes which includes interesting information about the never-made “American Scream” video, and the one song the band would never cover.

While fans are feeling the nostalgia from a truly important legacy that went from “crappy punk rock” to one of the biggest, and most influential bands in the world, what better time to count down the top 30 blink songs of all time? “They Came to Conquer... Uranus” is a longtime fan-favorite blink-182 EP released in 1995. The 7” EP was released in various colored vinyl, and has an iconic cover that features a robed alien.
