Many want to get money out of government, which would rid our Democracy of atrocities like Citizens United, but maybe not all lobbyists are that bad.
Stephen Bassett has spent 20 years being the only UF0-disclosure lobbyist, and a short film about him and Hillary Clinton's UFO-friendly 2016 campaign by Field Of Visions is back in the news after a recent WikiLeaks tweet about the film.

The near-13 minute mini-doc also highlights some of the John Podesta Clinton campaign e-mails that were leaked last year. Clinton has teased her interests before in UFOs in interviews and on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," and campaign head Podesta has been a long advocate of UFO disclosure.
From what many UFO followers believe about what the government knows about UFOs, and many in world governments ( see Paul Hellyer for starters) blatantly coming out and admitting the existence of aliens and the contact they've had with us on earth, Clinton's intrigue in UFOs could be questioned due to her clearance levels and access to information. This could also be a case of Clinton just playing politics and trying to garner as much support as possible on a position, which she's been known to do.
