REVIEW: Ryan Sprague's 'Stories from Somewhere in the Skies' is storytelling bliss

UAP researcher and podcast host of “Somewhere in The Skies” Ryan Sprague has been called a lot of things, but what fits him most is the title of storyteller.

In Sprague’s second book, “Stories from Somewhere in the Skies,” he expertly compiles some of the best witness accounts from his popular podcast and presents them in a way where the book feels like a hit TV series, with each chapter feeling like a new episode you can’t wait to see. Sprague lets his podcast guests shine and tell their stories in print here, but he supports their stories by building foundations and sections that help paint a bigger picture to any audience-paranormal or pedestrian.

There’s a method to the storytelling here that is reminiscent of fictional anthology books that were a huge part of so many of our childhoods, but these stories are real according to the witnesses that report them, and some are indeed scary. All the elements that make “Somewhere in the Skies” podcast endearing is reflected in this book that is personal, entertaining, and nostalgic.
