Introducing the next stage of punkrockandufos.com; pop culture and paranormal.
This site will expand coverage to include more pop culture and features, which will include music and movie reviews, concert coverage,and interviews related to, and not-related to paranormal. The site will no longer to confined to “just UFO-related coverage.” This change comes for a few reasons:
A general, seasonal burnout on UFOs, which can be attributed to the fact just a select few outlets and individuals are breaking UFO stories. It seems like if there’s a story that ISN’T a new military sighting or video, no one seems to care.
My music/ media blog for Houston Chronicle, MIKED, will no longer cease to exist within the next few weeks, as chron.com is cutting back on blogs. I still have the itch to cover the alternative music scene, which I’ve done for years as an an employee, and freelancer for Hearst.
Less time/ more family and professional responsibilities.

Mike Damante is an author, journalist and award-winning educator.
